Buying Hass avocados: start with a conversation

Tell the farm what you are looking for, ask about current availability and agree on the next step before assuming a purchase is possible.

Make the first message useful

If you are looking for Hass avocados, begin by explaining what you have in mind. Are you exploring a possible one-off purchase, a future relationship or an initial introduction to the farm? A clear purpose helps the owner respond to the right question without treating an inquiry as an order.

La Lombardia has an agricultural identity shaped by Hass cultivation. The owners currently describe around one thousand plants and drip irrigation as part of the plantation. These facts introduce the farm; they do not establish that fruit is available for sale today.

Ask about the present situation

Availability should be confirmed directly. Explain your intended use and the timing you are considering, then ask what the farm can actually discuss at that moment. If you have particular purchasing requirements, make them explicit rather than assuming a grade, certification, packing arrangement or export service exists.

It is useful to separate the questions: whether fruit is available, whether the proposed timing is workable and which details would need agreement before a purchase. This site does not publish a stock list, a price schedule or a guaranteed harvest. A photograph of avocados is not evidence of current inventory.

Leave room for a clear next step

A good exchange can end with a simple action: the owner confirms the current situation, asks for more information or explains when it would make sense to speak again. No volume, quality specification, delivery arrangement or commercial term should be considered settled merely because an access request was sent.

You do not need to write a long proposal. Introduce yourself, explain your interest in Hass and identify the question you most need answered. Avoid sending unnecessary personal or confidential information in the initial message.

Request Agriculture access to introduce a relevant buying conversation. Requests are reviewed manually. Approval opens a private conversation; it does not confirm fruit availability or create a purchase commitment.
